Zach Top’s Got a Treasure Trove of Tunes—And We Can’t Wait!

Fresh off his well-deserved CMA New Artist nomination, Washington State’s rising country star, Zach Top, recently sat down with radio legends Big D and Bubba for a chat—and boy, did he deliver the goods. When asked about his upcoming music, Zach casually mentioned, “Man, we’ve got a bunch of music stacked up. I’ve been writing non-stop for the last five years, so we’ve got a bunch of stuff already stacked up, kinda ready to go.”

That’s when the radio duo hit him with the burning question we were all thinking: Exactly how much music are we talking about? And Zach’s answer? Well, it left us buzzing with excitement.

“Probably about three albums,” Zach said with a grin. Yup, you read that right—three albums’ worth of fresh, original material just sitting there, waiting to hit our ears.

While it’s not every day you hear an artist casually say they’ve got three full albums in the bank, Zach explained that it’s not as uncommon as you might think—especially for artists who also write their own songs. “I think that was a common thing back in the day, at least for artists that were writers as well,” he reflected. “It’s good because, you know, ever since it’s kind of taken off, I haven’t had time to write. I’ve written nothing since November 14th last year.”

So, while Zach’s been busy blowing up on the country scene, it’s comforting to know he’s got a stockpile of tunes ready to go. And with a back catalog like that, we’re hoping it’s just a matter of time before we get our hands on all that new music.
