WATCH: Lainey Wilson Sings Cover Of "Fat Bottom Girls" By Queen
This cowgirl gives us an awesome performance of her "country version" of this hit 1978 song!
You couldn't help but sing along to Lainey's performance with a country twist you just can't get enough of! Lainey performed this cover at PNC Live Studio three years ago, and it's still just as amazing to watch three years later! While Lainey is throwing it back to the 70's let throwback to look at a little bit of Lainey's history.
Born on May 19th, 1992, in Baskin, Louisiana, this cowgirl got her love for music at just a young age. Lainey moved from Louisiana to Nashville to pursue her music career and in 2016 she released her first album Tougher. Since then, her fame has been growing and she has released two more albums, including Sayin' What I'm Thinkin' and Bell Bottom Country. Lainey has also released many singles, her most recent being Save Me with Jelly Roll. Lainey has achieved much success with her music as she has won many awards for her songs, and just a week ago she dominated at the 2023 ACM Awards winning: Female Artist of the Year, Album of the Year (Bell Bottom Country), Music Event of the Year ("Wait In The Truck" ft. Hardy), and Visual Media of the Year with Hardy for "Wait in the Truck."
One thing is for sure, whether it's one of her own record hits, or a throwback to the 70's, Lainey and her bell bottoms can cover it all!
