In a heartwarming video, Wetmore’s beloved grandmother surprises him with an heirloom from his late grandfather, who was a major influence on his musical journey. But the real surprise came when she handed him a note from the Opry itself. The note read, “We know the Grand Ole Opry has played a pivotal role in your journey, and we'd love to officially make you a part of ours...We look forward to celebrating this significant milestone where it all began," according to a press release. Tucker, known for his easy charm and big heart, could only smile and hug his grandma as the weight of the moment sunk in.

“Wow, I don't really have the words to describe how grateful and honored I am right now,” Wetmore shared with his signature humility in a press release. “The Opry was one of the reasons why I moved to this town to chase this dream and has been a goal of mine for as long as I can remember. Not only being invited, but getting to share such an important part in my career with my family and those I love the most brings me to tears. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I'll see y'all on September 10.”
