Mark Your Calendars! George Strait Extends Reign With Five 2025 Stadium Shows Featuring Chris Stapleton
George Strait, the undisputed King of Country, is extending his record-breaking run of stadium performances into 2025, proving once again that his reign is far from over. Following an extraordinary 2024, which saw Strait set the record for the largest single-ticketed concert in U.S. history with 110,905 fans at Texas A&M’s Kyle Field, the country legend is bringing his signature sound back to the big stage alongside powerhouse vocalist Chris Stapleton.
Strait, whose career spans more than four decades and includes 60 No. 1 hits, will team up with the eleven-time GRAMMY-winning Stapleton for a series of massive one-night-only stadium shows. The tour will include five stops, featuring special guest Parker McCollum in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, and Foxborough, while country supergroup Little Big Town will join for the lone West Coast show in Inglewood.
“I keep trying to slow down a bit but you keep calling me back. Please don’t ever stop. I still love it just as much as I always have,” shares Strait in a press release. “Thank you for an amazing year last year and I can’t wait to see you for a few more again this year."
With an illustrious career that has shaped the landscape of country music, Strait continues to captivate audiences with his traditional sound and unparalleled stage presence. The Texas native has sold more than 100 million records worldwide, with timeless classics like Amarillo by Morning, Carrying Your Love with Me, and Check Yes or No remaining fan favorites.
Adding to the excitement, the tour will see Stapleton bring his gritty, blues-infused country vocals to the stadium stage. Known for hits like Tennessee Whiskey and Starting Over, Stapleton’s live performances are nothing short of mesmerizing. Rising star Parker McCollum, who has made waves with songs like Pretty Heart, will be joining on select dates, while Little Big Town will bring their signature harmonies to Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium.
