Kip Moore Teams Up with Virgin Music Group, Teases First New Song in Two Years

Country music superstar Kip Moore is shaking things up and kicking off an exciting new chapter in his career. After nearly two years of anticipation, Moore has announced his partnership with Virgin Music Group, hinting at what’s to come—including a brand-new single titled "Live Here to Work," set to drop next Friday, September 20. Fans can get an early listen to the track on TikTok, and it's available for pre-save now.

This next era sees Moore teaming up with longtime collaborator and co-producer Jaren Johnston, whose work with the likes of Keith Urban and Darius Rucker promises a bold and polished sound for Moore’s highly anticipated return.

Reflecting on this new partnership, Moore shared in a press statement, "I’m a firm believer that this life is what you make it and is enhanced by the people you surround yourself with. I see this next chapter of my career as an opportunity to keep building this thing brick by brick."

Moore has always embraced an independent spirit in his music, so teaming up with Virgin was no small decision. Ultimately, it was the passion and vision that the Virgin Music Group team brought to the table that sealed the deal for Moore. "There is a trust and a freedom in what I do, and I can feel that from this team," he continued. Fans can look forward to hearing more music from Moore than ever before, starting with "Live Here to Work," a track Moore describes as "pushing the envelope" and "coming out swinging."

For those unfamiliar with Kip Moore’s journey, he's a singer-songwriter known for hits like "Somethin' 'Bout a Truck" and "Hey Pretty Girl." With a soulful, raspy voice and a raw, authentic approach to storytelling, Moore has become one of country music's most beloved artists. But he’s no stranger to breaking boundaries, and his latest project promises to be no exception.

Jacqueline Saturn, President of Virgin Music Group North America, is just as thrilled about the partnership. “I have been a fan of Kip’s for years now,” she said in a press statement. “His music's universal themes transcend genre and appeal to a huge variety of music fans. Along with his music, his commitment to relentless touring has helped him build a powerful global fanbase. We know this next phase of his career is going to be amazing.”

And speaking of touring, Moore is currently in the middle of his marathon Nomad World Tour, which resumes this month with a whirlwind 14-show run across Australia and South Africa. Moore’s performances last year in South Africa drew crowds of over 40,000, and fans across the globe can’t wait to see him back on stage. The tour wraps up with a string of U.S. dates later this fall, so American fans won’t have to wait long to get in on the action.

As Moore sets off on this exciting new path, one thing’s for sure: he’s ready to make his mark. Whether it's through his new music or his tireless touring, Moore’s next chapter promises to be as bold and inspiring as ever. Keep an ear out for "Live Here to Work" on September 20—Kip Moore is just getting started.
