Ella Langley Leads ACM Nominations as Reba McEntire Gears Up to Host the 60th Academy of Country Music Awards
The nominations for the 60th Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards are in, and rising star Ella Langley is leading the pack with a whopping eight nominations, followed closely by Cody Johnson, Morgan Wallen, and Lainey Wilson, each snagging seven nods. According to the press release, country legend Reba McEntire will take the reins as host, bringing her signature charm to the event, which will stream live on Prime Video on May 8 from the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas.

Ella Langley’s Meteoric Rise
Newcomer Ella Langley is officially making waves, dominating the nominations with recognition in major categories like Female Artist of the Year and New Female Artist of the Year. But it's her smash hit with Riley Green, “you look like you love me,” that has propelled her to the top, earning six nominations—including Single of the Year and Song of the Year as both an artist and songwriter. Not a bad way to make an ACM debut!
Cody Johnson and Morgan Wallen Battle for the Top Spot
Johnson and Wallen are tied for the most nominations for a male artist, each securing seven nods. Johnson, known for his Texas-born grit, is once again in the running for Entertainer of the Year, alongside his hit “Dirt Cheap,” which has landed multiple nominations. Wallen, on the other hand, continues his hot streak with a third consecutive Entertainer of the Year nod and multiple nominations for his collaboration with Post Malone, “I Had Some Help.”
Lainey Wilson Continues Her Streak
Lainey Wilson, the reigning queen of country music, once again proves she’s a force to be reckoned with. According to the press release, she has nominations in six different categories, including her first-ever nod for Artist-Songwriter of the Year. If history is any indicator, Wilson’s name will be called more than once on awards night.
Other Notable Nominees
Luke Combs is vying for Entertainer of the Year, and a win would secure him the prestigious Triple Crown Award—a feat previously achieved by Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton, and Carrie Underwood.
Chris Stapleton lands his tenth consecutive Male Artist of the Year nomination. With four wins already under his belt, could he make it five?
Old Dominion is back in the running for Group of the Year, an award they’ve claimed seven years in a row.
Kelsea Ballerini receives her first-ever Entertainer of the Year nomination, a huge milestone in her career.
Rascal Flatts surprises fans with their first nomination for Group of the Year since 2017.
Shaboozey makes history with his first ACM nods, including Best New Male Artist and Single of the Year for his viral hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy).”
