Drake White Gives Us A Masterclass In What It Means To Be Blessed In "Ladder To The Sky"

Drake White is giving fans a love note.

Today country-soul superstar Drake White gifts fans a song for the moments life may feel a little upside down. The steadfast dreamer shares his two sense on what it means to reach for your dreams but enjoy the ride in the tender Ladder To The Sky.

Co-written by White, Vanessa Olivarez, Andy Skib, “Ladder To The Sky” the song captures the feelings of ease and helps fans to find comfort in their own ambitions in just over three minutes. Drake's tender croon is backed by dreamy guitar strums aids in the softhearted nature of the song and offers an idyllic picture of life's climb to the top.

It ain't easy, the trip is long

Before you know it the ground is gone

Trust your grip and close them weary eyes

Its leaning up against the harvest moon

Find the end of what you got to lose

Were all gonna get there in our own sweet

A steadfast optimist, the song almost seems like a page out of the Alabama native's journal. Back in 2019 the innovator collapsed on stage due to a hemorrhagic stroke, and doctors told him he might never perform again. After undergoing a series of operations to repair his Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) and months of physiotherapy, White has proved them wrong, returning to the road to spread his incredible positivity to his fans. If that isn't an inspiration, we don't know what is.

The new track is a well needed nudge that dreams don't have an expiration date. True joy found in forgiveness, trust and believing in it all, are all touched on in the track produced by White himself. A unique take on life's unknowns, Ladder To The Sky serves as a poignant reminder that we are all here for a greater purpose.
