Country Music Juggernaut Boy Named Banjo To Embark On 27 Stop Fall Tour
Grab your dancing shoes and get your tickets to see one of country music's best rising bands Boy Named Banjo!
In a genre that often stays in a tight box, Boy Named Banjo thrives on its fringes. The Nashville-raised five-piece is a fusion of contemporary country, Americana and folk-rock stacked on a foundation of bluegrass. The band, which has been together in some iteration since members were in high school, includes Barton Davies (banjo), Ford Garrard (bass/standing bass), Sam McCullough (drums) Willard Logan (mandolin, acoustic/electric guitar) and William Reames (acoustic guitar/harmonica).
The boys have come along way from their garage band days! After signing with Mercury Records Nashville in 2020, the following year saw the release of their genre-defying EP Circles, which landed them a performance at the historic Ryman Auditorium alongside dates supporting the likes of Kip Moore, Hank Williams, Jr., Old Crow Medicine Show, and The Cadillac Three.
Let's not forget the millions of on demand streams from their adoring fans! The band also saw an incredibly successful 2022. They made their CMA Fest debut playing at the Ascend Amphitheatre Nighttime Concert as well as a sold-out hometown show at Nashville’s Brooklyn Bowl. But now it is time to hit the road big time!
I mean come on, their name screams a toe tapping good time! The 27 stop Dusk Til Dawn Tour kicks off September 14 in Atlanta, the band will make stops in major cities including Los Angeles, Dallas, New York City, and our nation's capital, Washington, D.C and will wrap it all up in Michigan on December 2nd.
“As a band, putting on the best show possible every night is something we take a lot of pride in,” says banjo player Barton Davies. “We’re so thrilled to have opportunities to do that on our Dusk Til Dawn tour this fall. We have some amazing artists joining us that our fans are going to love.”
Those artists they are talking about are some of the biggest risers in the country space. Americana trio Brother Elsey, bluegrass crooner Will Jones and powerhouse songstress Cassandra Lewis will all be serving as direct support on their respective dates.
Tickets for the Dusk Til Dawn Tour go on sale this Friday, July 21 local venue time with a pre-sale going on now! Get your Boy Named Banjo tickets here!
