CHEERS! Dolly Parton Toasts to Love with New Pinot Noir Release
Dolly Parton is raising a glass to love, music, and the art of winemaking this Valentine’s Day with the launch of her newest venture—Dolly Wines Pinot Noir. The release comes at a fitting time, marking 51 years since her iconic heartbreak anthem Jolene first captivated audiences. But now, Parton is rewriting her relationship with the color red, embracing its warmth and vibrancy through the lens of her latest wine.

“For many years, I have not liked the color red, because it reminds me of that woman who tried to take my husband! Remember, ‘Jolene, Jolene, Jolene,’” Parton joked in a recent social media post. “But my new Pinot Noir has changed all that! I love red now. You should try it," Dolly shared in a press statement about the wine.
The handcrafted California Pinot Noir, which has already garnered a 92-point rating from esteemed wine critic James Suckling, is designed for every kind of celebration—whether it’s a romantic Valentine’s dinner or a fun-filled Galentine’s gathering. With a rich ruby-red hue, this Pinot Noir is the second varietal released in the United States and the fourth globally under the Dolly Wines brand.
Wine enthusiasts can expect a silky, fruit-forward experience with notes of sweet cherries, warm blueberry pie, and a hint of vanilla, rounded out by the earthy essence of dried thyme. The wine’s accessible price point—$14.99 at major retailers including Kroger, Total Wine & More, Publix, and Cost Plus World Market—makes it an easy choice for casual sipping or special occasions.
