Chayce Beckham’s Hit Single, “23” Secures #1 Spot At Canadian Country Radio

The American Idol alum is taking his career international.

One of country music's biggest new phenoms Chayce Beckham is ending the year on a high note. The Califorina native has secured his first #1 spot at Canadian Country Radio this week with his single “23”. The self-penned hit song has reached triple Platinum status in Canada and has accumulated over 46 million streams, contributing to the staggering 321 million global streams the song has already garnered.

“I am truly speechless, a huge thank you to Canadian Country radio and all the country music fans in Canada, I received my first platinum record in Canada, and now my first radio number one,” says Beckham in a press release. “Canada is truly a special place for me, thank you all so much for your continued support throughout my career, and I can’t wait to see you soon.”

“With radio playlists currently being dominated by only a handful of powerful artists, it’s exciting when someone unexpected comes along to add much needed variety to the mix,” says Phil Kallsen, PH1L K Consulting. “Chayce Beckham’s ‘23’ tells a gritty story, is unique, and authentic. New Country 89.1 played it early on and in its heaviest rotation for an extended amount of time, not only because it sounded fresh on-air, but because it garnered impressive feedback from the audience. This is one of the top songs of 2023."

No stranger to Canada, Beckham has won crowds over opening for Luke Combs on his Ontario and Quebec run in 2022, he played a coveted spot at Cavendish Beach Music Festival in 2023 and opened for Luke Bryan on his Toronto date the same summer. 2024 will see the release of new music, as well as Beckham’s return to the Canadian market for more live shows.
