The EP opens with Left My T-Shirt, a song that dives into the raw and often uncharted territory of "situationships." Ashley’s lyrics tap into the bittersweet reality of letting someone leave their mark without ever fully committing to love or closure. She sings about the significance of a left-behind t-shirt, a symbol of what he’s hidden from her—the good, the bad, and the heartbreak. Ashley Anne’s delivery is both haunting and relatable, as she explores the mixed signals and uncertainties so many face today.

Then comes the title track, Call Me When You Land, an instant standout and arguably one of the most creative releases in recent memory. This song is the EP’s emotional centerpiece, embodying the fall from cloud nine when reality sets in. It’s heartbreak personified, capturing the intensity of love lost with a clarity and depth that showcase Ashley’s ability to connect with listeners on a profound level.

The EP wraps up with Drive You Anywhere, a song that glistens with vulnerability and reaches new heights as Ashley Anne navigates the depths of unconditional love. Her voice soars as she expresses a devotion that feels like “healthy desperation”—a love so profound that she’d go to the ends of the earth despite the scars that may come with it. This final track encapsulates the beauty of selfless, resilient love, leaving listeners both moved and hopeful. “Drive You Anywhere is a song about love to almost the point of healthy desperation. The concept revolves around loving someone so much you’d do anything for them, despite any of their scars. It is the epitome of an unconditional love song,” Ashley tells All Country News.

In her own words, Ashley Anne describes the Call Me When You Land EP as “a journey that takes you through the stages of a developing relationship song by song and step by step. The project begins with songs about uncertainty, nervousness, fear, and self-doubt, and closes with songs about falling in love and finding your person.” This emotional progression resonates with anyone who’s ever experienced the highs and lows of falling for someone new.

With Call Me When You Land, Ashley Anne solidifies herself as a voice to watch—an artist capable of weaving the complex, unspoken elements of relationships into soft, breathtaking melodies that leave a lasting impact.
