BMI Celebrates Ashley Cooke’s First No. 1 Hit “Your Place” with a Night to Remember

Wednesday night at Monday Night Brewing Preservation Co. was nothing short of electric as BMI celebrated Big Loud Records/Back Block Music artist Ashley Cooke's first-ever No. 1 hit, "Your Place." Reflecting on this monumental milestone, Ashley shared her thoughts with All Country News and other outlets, shedding light on why she believes "Your Place" became her first No. 1 hit. “The reason this song was even chosen as a single was because of the fans' reaction to it,” Cooke explained. “When we played it on tour, it was undeniable. Every single night in every single city, people lost their minds over it. It just felt the most real and raw and like my actual story. But the real answer is that magic happened.”

When asked how reaching this milestone has changed her perspective on her career, Cooke’s response was heartfelt and humble. “It allowed me to take a deep breath for a second.
