ACN EXCLUSIVE: Priscilla Block on TikTok Fame, New Music, and Her Latest Anthem "Yard Sale"

A Five-Year Whirlwind: From TikTok to Country Stardom
Priscilla Block's rise to fame is a story of resilience, talent, and the power of social media. The country songstress moved to Nashville at just 17 with only $50 to her name, determined to make her mark. Like many aspiring artists, she played in local bars, built her band, and honed her songwriting skills. But in a twist of fate, it was TikTok—a platform still in its infancy during the COVID-19 pandemic—that catapulted her into the spotlight.
"COVID was such a weird time for the world, but for me, it became the turning point in my career. When I got signed, I was one of the first country artists to get discovered off TikTok, and back then, a lot of people didn't believe it was real," Block recalls. "It was a struggle at first to be taken seriously, but I just kept pushing and proving myself. Now, TikTok is part of the formula for breaking artists."
Since then, Block has taken the country world by storm. She’s celebrated her first No. 1 hit, headlined her own tours, and shared the stage with legends like Shania Twain and Jon Pardi. She’s built a strong, dedicated fan base, and as she puts it, "We have been busting our butts. It's been a rollercoaster, and I blinked, and suddenly, here we are."
"Yard Sale": A Fun, Sassy Summer Anthem
One thing fans love about Priscilla Block is her ability to craft fun, relatable, and undeniably catchy songs. Her latest release, "Yard Sale", is no exception. The track, with its infectious energy and cheeky lyrics, is the perfect soundtrack for warm-weather adventures.
"Yard Sale is such a fun song! It kind of came out of nowhere in the writer’s room," Block shares. "I was telling my co-writers a story about this guy I met and how I tried to set him up with my best friend. I’m a huge Facebook Marketplace and yard sale girl—I love finding a good deal. And then, one of the writers, Laura Veltz, said, ‘That would be such a funny song about selling all your ex’s stuff.’ And we just ran with it."
The song’s upbeat, no-nonsense vibe has already struck a chord with fans. Block initially hesitated to release it, fearing it might be too out there, but her band and team insisted it had something special. So, she turned to TikTok once again, posting a playful video with signs advertising a fictional "yard sale." The response was immediate and overwhelming.
"I put it on TikTok, just to see what would happen, and it blew up," she says. "Now, here we are, and over 10,000 people have already used the sound—and the song isn’t even officially out yet! It’s crazy!"
With its twangy guitars, fiery attitude, and feel-good lyrics, "Yard Sale" is shaping up to be a summer staple.
2025: The Year of Priscilla Block
As she looks ahead to the rest of 2025, Block is brimming with excitement. "2024 was my year of working on myself—mentally, emotionally, and musically. I just finished my new record, and I feel so good about where I’m at in my life and career. This year, I’m coming in strong," she declares. "You spend years being the ‘new artist’ until one day, you’re not. And I think this record is going to take me to that next level."
With her signature blend of sass, heart, and authenticity, Priscilla Block is proving that she's not just a viral sensation—she's here to stay. And if "Yard Sale" is any indication, she’s about to have one of the biggest summers of her career.
